1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Ordea platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Ordea provides an online ordering platform for food businesses. The Service allows merchants to create ordering pages, manage menus, process orders, and accept payments through Stripe.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Fees and Payment
Ordea charges a commission of 3% per order processed through the platform. There are no monthly fees or minimum commitments. Stripe payment processing fees apply separately and are charged directly by Stripe. Ordea reserves the right to change its fee structure with 30 days written notice.
5. Merchant Obligations
As a merchant using the Service, you are responsible for: the accuracy of your menu and pricing; complying with all applicable food safety and hygiene regulations; fulfilling orders placed through the platform; maintaining appropriate business licences and insurance.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ordea and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your own content uploaded to the platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ordea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Ordea may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms, with or without notice.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
